The name Tano Bora Grill is coined from the ‘magnificent five’ cheetah pack that dominated the Mara plains. It also symbolizes the five friends who founded the business by selling shawarma in their backyard at Saifee Park. Inspired and taught by the legendary Tanzanian Chef Ali Bongo. Word or photos won’t do them justice, if you love grill this should be a bucket list joint to visit and experience, and as you can tell from the menu, it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg to enjoy Nyama Choma.
The Tano Bora Grill is hard to beat when it comes to barbecue delicacies. From their signature ajar chicken, honey glazed lamb chops etc.

10/10 across the menu. Food quality excellent. Good portions and value for money.
Signature honey Lamb chops are a must try.
Sururu with tomato chutney should not be missed as well.
Highly recommended for any meat lover.
Halal joint.

The food was exceptionally nice, especially the Honey glazed lamb chops. It seems to be a place with very nice grilled foods and very reasonable prices.
Something to note, is that it’s located inside a complex, that felt kinda not friendly to people not white or indian, we got frustrated at the gate as we had just followed google maps.
All in all the food was nice except the vegetables, the service was also splendid.
