Visited on a weekday for dinner and from the entrance to my sitting area I couldn’t help but notice the beautiful aesthetics; amazing light ambience, hanging plants and hints of African architecture.
The service was superb with ever smiling waiting staff.
Tamarind Brasserie has lovely gazebos that can be used for private meetings. There is a children’s playground to keep your lovely little ones busy including a couple of rabbits I sighted that will heighten their curiosity.
I tried the Salmon and although I’m not one to eat fish in Nairobi, I gave this a try and I know I’ve found my new trustworthy Nairobi sea food joint.
Oh, I got to enjoy the signature Tamarind Dawa and that was the lovely highlight of my night.

Had the best time here. From the warm welcome right at the gate to the reception to the rest of the staff.
The food was amazing. Had the rib eye steak and mashed potatoes and hands down the best steak I have had in a while. The cocktails are also very nice. The prices are also reasonable both for food and drinks.
Special thanks to Amani who made sure we had everything we wanted and constantly checked on us to ensure we were comfortable.
Though I visited at night, the place was very beautiful and I can’t wait to visit again.
